Simple and Stylish Wedding Reception (with Donuts and Milk Bar)

One of our good family friends married her sweetheart this month.  The bride has some serious graphic design talents and the mother-of-the-bride is a professional photographer (as well as a full-time 6th grade teacher).  Love the style and simplicity of this reception.

Sign-in table.  You could leave words of advice to the newlyweds in the little wire basket.

I'm guessing the bride designed this.  Too bad I don't have decent photography skills judging by the glare on the glass!
Gift tables.
A spot for cards in between the two gift tables.
Backdrop for the receiving line.
Giant pictures on the wall were very simple and tasteful.

They brought in a dresser and added this cute frame with polaroid style pics hung on there.

I love how they hung those indoor-outdoor lights from Costco across the room.  They used ten sets (I counted) and hired a professional to come hang them up.

Table centerpieces were all similar to this. Again, I love the simplicity and clean style.
Plenty of room for dancing in the middle of the room.

Cake table (after they cut the cake).

Great DJ, Randy Olson, who also has his own band.  Side note:  He makes the coolest wooden bears using a chainsaw.

Donuts and milk theme for the refreshments. Cute idea! Love the backdrop and the cute faux chalkboard sign.

Three kinds of milk in darling dispensers.  I'm sure it looked better before guests spilled on the tablecloth. Smart idea to have the little trays to catch drips.

Water table with more cool dispensers.

Best wishes to the darling newlyweds!
