Paper Plate Baskets
Click HERE to learn how to make these DARLING baskets out of paper plates.
They would be great to use for parties, birthdays, weddings, Easter, Valentine's Day, Christmas, Halloween, picnics, Teacher Appreciation, etc.
When I read the directions for how to make the baskets, I didn't know what "washi tape" was. So I did a little research (click HERE for info). I'm tempted to buy some and do something crafty with it. The frugal side of me may try using staples and ribbon before I invest in buying yet another crafting supply though!
I will post pictures when I make my own baskets.

Halloween - Don't Eat Frank Game
We LOVE playing the "Don't Eat Pete" game. I thought it would be fun to make a Halloween version to play at my son's class Halloween Party. So I googled it and found that someone else had the same idea and had done all the work! Click HERE to go to the source. How cool is that!
To play the game, you have a group of people sitting around one of the game boards. Play one candy on each character on the board (there are two boards pictured above). One person leaves the room and the rest of the people choose one of the characters to call "Frank." The person rejoins the group and takes a candy off of each character until he gets to the one that the group chose to be "Frank." When the person goes to grab the "Frank" candy, everyone yells, "DON'T EAT FRANK!" and the person's turn is over. Repeat process with people taking turns leaving the room and picking different characters on the board. This game is a hit for people of all ages. I've read of a fun rule that says if the guesser picks the "Frank" on the first guess, then they get to keep all the candies on the board. Sounds like fun to me!

Halloween "Phantom Call"
We received this cute poem on our porch tonight with a plate of goodies. We usually "boo" people at Halloween, and this is another form of that. We will include this in our family night this week. (Click to enlarge or print)

Poem - Halloween & the Holy Ghost

This is a cute poem to use for a little Halloween gift for visiting teaching, Primary, Young Women, etc.
Since this is the time for goblins and bats
Halloween parties and ghosts and cats
Weird costumes and strange masks too
These are the things I wish for you-
May the only ghost that comes to stay
Be the Holy Ghost to guide your way.
May the only spirits you chance to meet
Be the spirits of love & warm friends sweet.
These are Halloween wishes for you
And may God bless you in all you do.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Poem - Halloween Pumpkin Poop
For a cute little Halloween gift, you can attach the following poem to a package of Candy Corns.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN
I started to carve a pumpkin
with my carving knife and scoop
But the pumpkin got so scared
He took a little poop!
It looked so cute and funny
Just like a candy treat
So I'm sharing it with you now
Because you are so sweet!

Halloween Craft Ideas for Children
Here are some Halloween craft ideas for elementary age children. I didn't think these things up, I just collected them from sites on the internet. We have done these crafts at class parties at school, but they would also be fun to do for FHE or Activity Days. Click on the pages below to enlarge and then print if desired.

Graveyard Brownies

Our boys look forward to our annual Halloween tradition of making graveyard brownies. The picture at the top is not our actual creation, but it is similar. These are really easy and fun to make. I'm pretty sure I originally found the idea in a magazine (like Family Fun or something).
Here's how we make our graveyard brownies....
